Pickleball Instructional Classes

Pickleball is a fun, fast-growing sport that blends tennis, badminton, and table
tennis. Easy to learn and great for all skill levels, it’s a social and active way to
stay moving. Paddles are provided; court shoes are required.

Join our hour-long weekly pickleball classes and improve your game in a fun and
supportive environment!

Advanced Beginner – 7:00am – 8:00am
Elevate your game with targeted drills designed to fine-tune your technique, sharpen your strategy, and build confidence on the court.

Emerging Intermediate – 8:00am – 9:00am
This class focuses on advanced strokes, strategy, and gameplay drills.

Pickleball Ball Machine Drills – 9:00am – 10:00am
Build consistency, improve footwork, and sharpen your shots through high-repetition ball machine drills. Practice key pickleball skills in a fun, structured environment designed to help players gain confidence and improve performance.

Meet Your Instructor:

Johnnia is a PPR-certified coach with 7+ years of experience and an active
background in leagues and tournaments. She offers instruction for beginner
through intermediate players in group, semi-private, and private formats.

  • Mondays from September 28, 2026 to October 26, 2026

• Fee:        $100 per session for YMCA Members / $125 for Non-Members
• Age:        18+
• Location: YMCA Basketball Gym (79 Horsehill Road, Cedar Knolls, NJ)
• Registration Required: Sign up through our membership portal found on our website.

Non-members registering for the program should select the Pickleball Non-Member Membership type during registration.
