Pickleball Instructional Classes

Pickleball is a fun, fast-growing sport that blends tennis, badminton, and table
tennis. Easy to learn and great for all skill levels, it’s a social and active way to
stay moving. Paddles are provided; court shoes are required.

Join our hour-long weekly pickleball classes and improve your game in a fun and
supportive environment!

Meet Your Instructor:

Johnnia is a PPR-certified coach with 7+ years of experience and an active
background in leagues and tournaments. She offers instruction for beginner
through intermediate players in group, semi-private, and private formats.

• Session:
  • Mondays, June 1, 2026 to June 29, 2026

• Fee:        $100 per session for YMCA Members / $125 for Non-Members
• Age:        18+
• Location: YMCA Basketball Gym (79 Horsehill Road, Cedar Knolls, NJ)
• Registration Required: Sign up through our membership portal found on our website.

Non-members registering for the program should select the Pickleball Non-Member Membership type during registration.

Beginner – 7:00am
Perfect for those new to the game! Learn the fundamentals, including rules, scoring, and
basic techniques.

Advanced Beginner – 8:00am
Designed for players ready to take the next step, this class focuses on advanced
strokes, strategy, and gameplay drills.

Emerging Intermediate –9:00am
Elevate your game with targeted drills designed to fine-tune your technique, sharpen your strategy, and build confidence on the court. This class is ideal for players looking to take the next step and continue advancing their overall game.
