Preschool Swim Lessons
These lessons are for our novice level swimmers. In these classes, skills will vary from water acclimation skills, water movement and the beginnings of stroke development.
All classes with the exception of Pikes classes require an evaluation to register. If the class you are looking to enroll in is full, please feel free to place your swimmer on the waiting list. Our waiting list is available with our full list of programs.

Classes marked with an asterisks (*) are beginner level classes and do not require an evaluation to participate.
Rays/Starfish
For ages 3-5 years
Participants in this class have completed all Eels skills or can swim 20 meters with their arms out and face in the water. This class continues work on rotary breathing, perfect elementary backstroke and intro to diving.
Goals: Swim 25 meters of freestyle with rotary breathing and elementary backstroke, as well as a 50 meter endurance swim.
An evaluation is required prior to registering for this class.
Evaluations come in the form of progress reports following the end of a session or an individual swim evaluation from our Aquatics staff. Evaluations must be current (From the session that just concluded or a swim test done in the several weeks preceding registration). Progress reports from previous sessions/swim evaluations older than three (3) months old will require re-evaluation prior to registration.
